Yes, beauty is useful. But not according to my superego!

Using embroidery to disguise darns is still taking the purely functional and embellishing it, though, which is what I&#039;m talking about. Embellishment just falls into a different category from function, for me - although it can be at least as crucial, depending on context (I&#039;m thinking about the social significance of textile decoration, for instance).</description>
