Pair number 9. If pushed I can make a pair of socks in about 2.5 weeks. I had other projects going as well.

So, so pretty, that yarn. So pretty, in fact, that I bought it too Possibly in the Knitting & Stitching show with you. I haven’t done anything with it yet either, but I do have one skein wound into a ball now.

I’ve tried one sock, and not finished it. I’m thinking of making this yarn into leg warmers, as they should be easier.

Socks are so much fun, they’ve restarted me knitting — I’m on the third pair now. And there is an unlimited number of people who you can give them to — and they’ll be touched and amazed and actually use them. And you can see real progress in one evening, which is a plus. Speaking of which I’m putting this computer away and getting out the socks I’m making for my dear sister. Here are the ones I gave my old friend…

very pretty yarn, socks are fun. I'm on number 9 of this year, I knit them in work during breaks, socks are easy to carry. There are a lot of knee socks lurking on the internet too like these or these or these might be good...
